We Get It - Hair Wash Day Can Be a Nightmare
I'm Ella and I started aerlo hair because I have always battled with super thick and textured hair which meant I would dread washing my hair. Drying time took forever and even then, I'd be left with a fluffy, frizzy mess that took even longer to style properly. It felt like a whole day's work (and arm workout) just to feel put together.
I realised the problem wasn't my hair, it was the tools. I was stuck between cheap dryers that caused heat damage and 'professional' brands with price tags that felt impossible to justify.
Same Technology. A Fairer Price.
I knew there had to be a middle ground. Why should salon-quality technology like high-speed ionic motors and intelligent heat sensors be a luxury reserve?
I started aerlo to bridge that gap. Based in Christchurch, New Zealand, our mission is to give every Kiwi the tools for healthy, beautiful hair without the 'brand tax' or the wash-day dread
Why We Do Things Differently:
High-Speed Ionic Tech: The same airflow and heat control found in $700+ premium brands.
Hair Health First: Designed to dry fast without "frying" your hair.
Built for Every Texture: Whether your hair is fine and flat or thick and curly, aerlo works with you, not against you.
Proudly Local: We are a 100% NZ-owned and operated business.
We spent 18 months product testing our Iconic hairdyer before launching to market. I wanted to ensure that the motor, heat settings, attachments and cord length were all perfectly considered.
Healthy Hair for Everyone
Whether you've got thick, fine, curly, or straight hair, aerlo is designed to work with your hair, not against it. Faster drying times. Less heat damage. More confidence on the other side of wash day.
With consistent five-star reviews from customers across New Zealand, we're proud of the difference aerlo is making - one hair wash day at a time.
